How to GM Application
1.0.7a has recently added the new feature to Apply for GM in game. Which makes it more efficient to make an GM Application rather than to just go on the forums, register, and get a name just to make a GM application. Then right after, just throw away the forum and never go back there again. But with that out of the way, there is some inability to make a proper GM application with just saying "i want gm cuz i feel like i can be a good gm". If anyone ever does that, that's just a sign that you don't want GM at all cause your application doesn't show it. Here's an example of how a GM application should be.
Why do you want to be admin:
This category, you have to be really confident. If you start with "I think", that means you're not confident enough to be GM. You should be confident in doing an application, otherwise why would you be even applying then if you iffy on whether you're gonna get it or not. Please remember to not include that it'll benefit yourself, rather than it'll benefit the game if you were a GM. If you just want to be GM cause you always wanted to be one, that will give the idea that you just want it for the verbs and for the "respect" that people think it brings, and that won't be good for you.
What do you offer as an admin:
Alright, I may sound like a hypocrite, but I hate when people say "I can icon, map, or code for the game". especially when they can't do what they say they can do, and even if they do, it looks terrible. It's just a way to get past the process of getting in by your own words and actions in the game. So you should just be honest when you do this question, and be true to what you can do. Something like testing, bug testing, or helping out players is something everyone can do, and will be a big help rather than just to lie and say you can help development for the game. Acting professional can go a long way. Professional as in, not saying a cuss word each time you talk. That will give you an example of a role model that the players will see and try to be.
Experiences:
Now this, I have grown to hate seeing. Every single time someone applies, they usually give the most bullshit answers. Saying they worked for a game that was fairly popular and or having a shit ton of experiences, but don't even act like it. Please be honest when you do these. If you have one game or no games you have been GM on, say it. It's not like it will make you a less likely chance to get it. It depends on how you act for it, and how you plead to get it. Not because you were GM on the biggest games and or on a shit ton of popular games. I included maturity as a experience. As you can still win a GM application over if you say that. Rather than just being dry as fuck and saying "None".
If you follow these guidelines, and actually be dedicated in making an application, you'll easily be a choice to be considered as a GM for Mystic World. If you have a bad history in the game, the chance slightly decreases, but if you stay honest, and actually look like you worked hard on the application, you'll be considered in no time.
